In July 2010 Leati signed a contract with WWE to compete in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). He debuted in FCW on September 9, 2010 under the ring name Roman Leakee. In 2012 he became a singles main eventer. On February 5, he defeated Dean Ambrose & Seth Seth Rollins to become the #1 contender for the FCW Florida HeavyWeight Championship. He failed to win the championship. On November 18, 2012 he, along side Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose made their main roster debut as a 3 man faction, The Shield. They remained undefeated until May 13, 2013 when they were defeated by Cena, Kane, & Bryan. On May 19 at Extreme Rules he & Seth Rollins defeated Team Hell No in a tornado tag team match to become the new tag team champions. On October 14, 2013 they lost the tag team championships to The Brotherhood. The night after The Shield had defeated Evolution for the second time (June 2, 2014), Seth Rollins turned on The Shield & went with The Authority. Since then, Reigns has had multiple title oppertunities. After that, Reigns & Ambrose would team up to try & take down The Authority.
